Ballet Barre for Better Balance
w/ Heather Mims
Everyone is welcome to join this beginner-level ballet barre class to discover the benefits of pliés, tendus, and relevés for improving balance during everyday life. We will wake up the ankles, hips, spine, and vestibular system to improve balance and reduce fall risk while at the same time enjoying the beauty and musicality of ballet. This class is taught by Heather Mims, PT, DPT, OCS, NCPT. In addition to her Physical Therapy and Pilates training, Heather has years of experience as a professional dancer and holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in dance!

w/ Matt Leve
Join us in practicing the art of Tai Chi as we move through gentle, flowing movements and mindful breathing. All sessions are guided by Matt Leve, PT, MSPT, GCFP. Matt has been practicing and teaching Tai Chi for years, in addition to his training in physical therapy and Feldenkrais. He is thrilled to finally bring this practice to Tula in a group setting.

This full-body strengthening class combines mindful movement with resistance training to help you build strength, stability, and body awareness. Through focused breathing and intentional alignment, you'll challenge your upper body, lower body, and core using resistance bands for a balanced and effective workout. This class is designed for individuals without active muscle or tendon injuries and who can stand unsupported. Strengthen with purpose, move with control, and feel empowered in your body!

Register NowPilates-Based Core Strengthening with Props
w/ Heather Mims
A creative blend of Pilates mat exercises and other core strengthening practices in which we will use bands, balls, blocks, and other small props to augment the work. No experience required, but participants should be able to get up and down from a mat on the floor without assistance.
